Campus Environmental Education Train
Farglory Ocean Park, in collaboration with the Farglory Cultural and Educational Foundation, has launched the "Environmental Education Train" to enter campuses across Taiwan. Starting from Kaohsiung Boai Elementary School, it brings knowledge of terrestrial and marine ecology to children through interactive courses and real experiences, transforming sustainable education into a learning journey filled with surprises and emotions.
The first stop is at Boai Elementary School in the Sanmin District of Kaohsiung City, where the children embark on an exploratory adventure from land to sea in the classroom. The course combines knowledge sharing about reptiles and whales, and invites "little assistants" such as the red-footed tortoise, Brazilian tortoise, and blue-tongued skink to make an appearance, instantly becoming the focus of the event. In addition to observing animal friends up close, students can also touch baleen plates and learn about the anatomy and habits of whales and dolphins.
This is not just a simple ecology class, but an action to practice the concept of sustainability. The curiosity and smiles of the children are the greatest motivation for us to continue entering campuses and deepening education. The next stop, the environmental education train will arrive at Zhongxiao Elementary School in Yancheng District, Kaohsiung, continuing to plant the seeds of ocean protection in the campus.
