Hand in hand to cultivate tourism talents: Sustainable practices of industry-academia cooperation.
Farglory Recreation is not only committed to promoting sustainable tourism and environmental protection, but also has been deeply engaged in it for the long term.Education and talent cultivationto extend corporate responsibility to the development of the next generation.
Students and teachers from the Department of Hospitality Management at National Taitung University recently visited Farglory Hotel Hualien, embarking on an industry visit that combines academia and practice. Through on-site observation of the operations of a star-rated hotel, the students gained an in-depth understanding of the details of food and beverage and accommodation management. From service processes to operational strategies, these experiences became the most authentic learning materials outside of their classroom studies.
For students, this is not just a visit, but also a career inspiration—seeing more possibilities for the future through on-site observation and professional sharing. For companies, this is a demonstration of responsibility and commitment:
-
Cultivating local tourism talentThrough industry-academia collaboration, support the sustainable development of the tourism industry in the Hualien and Taitung regions.
-
Share experiences and knowledge- Let professional knowledge not only remain within the company but become the nourishment for the overall growth of the industry.
-
Practicing corporate social responsibility- Connect education with society, expanding sustainability to the inheritance of talent and culture.
At Farglory Recreation, we believe that sustainability is not only about protecting the environment but also about investing in talent. Through collaboration with academia, we work hand in hand with the next generation to envision a sustainable future for tourism in Hualien and Taitung.
