Ocean Conservation Action
Farglory Ocean Park and the Hualien County Environmental Protection Bureau joined hands to hold beach cleaning and marine education activities, clearing a total of223 kilograms of wasteThrough group activities and professional explanations, volunteers and children not only actively protect the ocean but also learn the correct ways of whale and dolphin rescue and ecological conservation.
On the magnificent Pacific coast of Hualien, Farglory Ocean Park joined hands with the Hualien County Environmental Protection Bureau to call on volunteers and local students to participate in the "Marine Pollution Prevention" action. A total of 223 kilograms of marine waste were cleaned up that day, and garbage classification was conducted, allowing participants to intuitively experience the environmental challenges faced by the ocean.
After the event, the children entered the park, led by the dolphin care team, to learn how to identify the body structure and living habits of dolphins, and to understand the "three musts and four must-nots" rescue guidelines for stranded whales and dolphins:
-
⭕ Need to straighten, need to moisturize, need to record breathing and heartbeat
-
❎ Do not expose to sunlight, do not stand at the head or tail, do not pull the fins, do not make noise.
Through repeated participation and educational promotion, we hope to plant the seeds of ocean protection, allowing more people to turn environmental awareness into daily actions and together safeguard the blue nation.
